Filter Your Head through Your Heart
“Filter your head through your heart.”
I’ve been enjoying saying this wherever it seems appropriate. On Wednesday we will begin, Yoga Tools for Teachers: Becoming the Change. I’m thinking about setting ground rules/NORMS for our group work. I like to insert Filter your head as my suggested NORM.
I think my Filter your head through your heartNORM is a derivative of Yoga Mudra (the standing version is one of my favorite yoga postures). In the LePage Integrative Yoga Teacher’s Toolbox, p. 67 we find The Seal of Mudra/Yoga Mudra, “My mind surrenders to my heart, my inner teacher.”
